Calculator by Toolsloft ↗Underline your text so you can paste it into bios, posts, and chats on platforms that give you no underline button. Type your text and copy the underlined version out. It is plain Unicode rather than an image, so the underline stays put wherever you paste it.
How this is calculated
Each character is followed by the Unicode combining low line (U+0332). Combining marks attach to the character before them, so placing one after every character draws a continuous underline beneath the whole string. Your words are unchanged; the underline is an overlay, which is why it survives copy and paste.

FAQ
- How does the underline survive copy and paste?
- The line is a combining Unicode character layered onto each letter, not formatting from an app menu. Because it lives in the text itself, it travels with a copy and paste, which is why it works where there is no underline button.
- Does it work everywhere?
- Most modern apps and browsers render it correctly. A few older systems draw combining marks imperfectly, so the underline may sit a little low or uneven. A quick test paste where you plan to use it is worthwhile.
- Is the underlined text still readable and searchable?
- Yes. The letters are unchanged and only gain an underline beneath them, so the text stays selectable and searchable like any other Unicode.
