Cursive Text Generator
Convert text to cursive script Unicode you can paste into Instagram, Twitter, and Discord. Free, instant, and works in your browser.
Calculator by Toolsloft ↗Turn ordinary text into cursive Unicode characters you can paste anywhere, including places that give you no font choice such as Instagram bios, Twitter or X posts, and Discord names. The script style gives a flowing, handwritten look for a name or a quote. The result is real Unicode, not an image, so it travels wherever you paste it.
How this is calculated
Each letter is swapped for its matching character in the Unicode Mathematical Script blocks: capitals from U+1D49C and lowercase from U+1D4B6. Eleven letters (capitals B, E, F, H, I, L, M, R and lowercase e, g, o) are reserved in that block, so those pull the same glyph from the Letterlike Symbols block instead. Script has no digit forms, so digits, spaces, and punctuation are left unchanged. Because the output is standard Unicode, how it renders depends on the font the reader is using.

FAQ
- Is this real cursive text or an image?
- It is real Unicode text, not an image. You can copy and paste it into most apps and websites, and it stays selectable and searchable. It is not a handwriting font you install, which is why it works in places that give you no font setting.
- Why do the digits stay plain?
- Unicode defines script forms only for the letters A to Z and a to z. There are no script digits, so 0 to 9, along with spaces and punctuation, are left exactly as you typed them.
- Why do a few letters look slightly different from the rest?
- A handful of script letters (capitals B, E, F, H, I, L, M, R and lowercase e, g, o) live in a separate part of Unicode called the Letterlike Symbols block. We pull those from there so every letter has a script form, and their styling can differ a little between fonts.
